ISQOLS Webinar,
"Views to happiness and disadvantage in Finland"
Thursday, 1 February
Finland has been very successful in various international comparisons describing the state of well-being and society. Perhaps the most visible has been the research information that the happiest citizens in the world live in Finland. In the webinar, we will take a closer look at how well-being and happiness are shared among Finns. We aim to shed light on the factors that affect the happiness of Finns and look especially at the situations in which happiness is compromised. Our presentations are based on long-term research on the well-being of Finns, but also on the disadvantages. We have recently published a summary of our findings in “In the Backyard of Finnish Happiness - Empirical Observations from the Happiest Country on Earth” (https://urn.fi/URN:ISBN:978-952-493-426-8). Our presentations are based on the results of our new publication.
