The Presidents' Fund is an endowment fund (i.e., the corpus of the fund will not be spent). That means only the interest/dividends will be spent to to support honoree travel to our main conferences, to support our own more independent, publication activities, and to enhance financial stability of the organization.
Several past presidents have pledged in response to the challenge grant issued by Richard Estes. There are a number of other board members who are making smaller pledges. However, the fund raising campaign to build the Presidents' Fund is in need of your support.
We are asking you to make a contribution that will "seed" our efforts. Our goal is to reach pledges totaling USD $50,000.
We cannot do this without your help.
