MIQOLS has several free resources available for use by researchers and practitioners interested in applying the science of quality-of-life (QOL) studies for managerial use and policy making. Here is a list of free resources:

Quality-of-Life Indicators: MIQOLS has three sets of QOL indicators that can be used to assess the

    • QOL of most countries worldwide (using the Estes Weighted Index of Social Progress – a QOL index well-established through various publications in Social Indicators Research;  http://www.miqols.org/toolbox/isp.html)

Quality-of-Life Surveys: MIQOLS has four sets of QOL surveys that can be used to launch actual surveys to assess the QOL of various population groups:
    • Quality of College Life (QoCL) Survey: This survey tool (http://www.miqols.org/qocl/) allows college/university administrators (e.g., dean of students and/or directors of institutional research) to launch a survey directed to their student population to gauge their quality of college life (QoCL) based on a well-established and validated metric (evidence of construct validity published in Social Indicators Research).

    • Quality of Work Life (QoWL) Survey: This survey tool (http://www.miqols.org/qowl/) allows directors of human resources of medium-size and large organizations to launch a survey directed to their employees to gauge their quality of work life (QoWL) based on a well-established and validated metric (evidence of construct validity published in Social Indicators Research).

    • Community-Quality-of-Life (CQoL) SurveyThis survey tool (http://www.miqols.org/cqol/) allows public administration officials (e.g., city/county/town administrators, city/county/town councils, planning commissions, bureaus of economic development, real estate brokers/agents/developers) to launch a survey directed to their community residents to gauge their Community quality of life (CQoL) based on a well-established and validated metric (evidence of construct validity published in Social Indicators Research).

    • Consumer Well-Being (CWB) SurveyThis survey tool (http://miqols.org/cwb/) allows business leaders (as well as public administration officials) interested in gauging consumer well-being (CWB) in their local area (e.g., directors of local or regional chambers of commerce; directors of bureau of economic development) to launch a survey directed to their community residents based on a well-established and validated metric (evidence of construct validity published in Social Indicators Research).
