International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies (ISQOLS) 2025 Winter Virtual Conference: Advancing Well-Being and Quality of Life Studies

The International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies (ISQOLS) is delighted to announce its upcoming ISQOLS 2025 Virtual Winter Conference, a two-day event dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging scholars in the field of quality-of-life studies. This conference will take place on February 27th and 28th, accessing from anywhere in the world.

Conference Theme: The ISQOLS 2025 Virtual Winter Conference aims to highlight the innovative and dynamic research being conducted by the next generation of scholars in the field of well-being and quality-of-life studies. We welcome empirical and theoretical contributions that explore new perspectives, methodologies, and applications in these areas. This conference is designed to provide a supportive and collegial environment where early-career researchers can share their work, receive constructive feedback, and build networks with peers and senior scholars.

Topics of Interest: We welcome submissions on a broad range of topics related to well-being and quality of life, including but not limited to:

• Subjective well-being and life satisfaction

• Mental health and well-being

• Social indicators and societal well-being

• Economic and material well-being

• Environmental well-being and sustainable living

• Cross-cultural perspectives on well-being

• Policy interventions for enhancing quality of life

• Methodological advancements in well-being research

Eligibility Criteria: This conference is exclusively for early-career researchers who are within eight years of having completed their PhDs or who are currently working to complete their PhD or Master's degrees. We aim to create a platform that specifically supports and amplifies the voices of emerging scholars in our field.

Submission Guidelines: We invite both empirical and theoretical papers. Submissions should include an abstract of up to 350 words, along with a brief author biography that includes the date of Master/PhD completion (or expected date of completion). Please submit your abstract on the link below. The deadline for abstract submissions is 15 November. Accepted presenters will be notified by early January. Registration is 1 December 2024 through February 8 2025; Author Confirmation of Attendance deadline: January 15, 2025
