    Call for Papers

    Measuring Progress Annual Workshop

    Luxembourg, 2 – 3 of June 2023

Organized by STATEC Research, Luxembourg National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies

This June, leading scholars and practitioners will meet in Luxembourg to discuss the quest for better lives, how to measure progress, and tools to lastingly increase quality of life. This workshop builds upon the Measuring Progress Seminar Series, extending it to an in-person event to facilitate community building and the exchange of ideas. Contributions are welcome from both researchers and practitioners pertaining to quality of life, well-being, social sustainability, and new definitions of progress.

Over two days, there will be two keynote speakers, numerous presentations, and a social dinner. All sessions will be plenary, and speakers will have approximately 25 minutes for presentation and discussion. Presentations will be streamed to facilitate remote attendance. The fees to attend in-person are 100 euros, or 50 euros for students, and include the social dinner.

    We have two key-note speakers

Carrie Exton (OECD) and Martin Binder (Universität der Bundeswehr München).
