March 9th on “Subjective well-being measurement: Current practice and new frontiers”.

The OECD Well-being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity (WISE) Centre would like to invite you to an online workshop on March 9th on “Subjective well-being measurement: Current practice and new frontiers”.

It has been ten years since the OECD published its Guidelines on Measuring Subjective Well-being, and over the ensuing decade, the inclusion of these indicators in national surveys across member states has grown substantially. The WISE Centre is now taking stock of member state uptake of subjective well-being indicators in national surveys and policy making processes, along with a review of advances in the academic evidence base on subjective well-being measurement. This project will culminate in a paper that discusses whether there may be a need to reinforce, or expand the Guidelines, and if so, identifies the top two to three priority areas for further OECD work.

At this early stage in the project, we are inviting key stakeholders to join us for a brief presentation of preliminary findings, followed by a collaborative discussion to solicit feedback and shape the agenda moving forward. You are welcome to forward this invitation to others in your network who may be interested in attending.

There will be two sessions held on March 9th, one from 9.00-11.00 CET and one from 15.00-17.00 CET, to accommodate those joining from different time zones. The content will be identical, therefore participants should register for only one session. Registration links are below:
